All Things Beautiful...Through My Kaleidoscope

Welcome to my page of reflections on the mandala art of Henry Reed. Long ago, I envisioned my writing as viewing life through my looking glass…my kaleidoscope. I love the way the picture changes, with each turn of the scope. Yet, it’s always unique and beautiful. After long enjoying Henry’s mandalas in my daily email, I discovered that, beyond looking at the artwork, I was feeling prompted to write words from my heart regarding what was going on in my life. I began my own daily affirmations, or reflections…and posting them here, beginning in August 2009. ~ Nov. 13, 2011, Henry completed his 7th year -- 2,556 mandala paintings -- thus completing a circle. A new one begins. Hope you'll tune in to watch what develops in this blog space of Henry Reed, SusanGail and ATB ~ It's a journey of intuitive heart.

MANDALA ART BY HENRY REED FROM ARCHIVES OF THE DAILY MANDALA

Note to visitors of All Things Beautiful...

Below you will see my reflections on The Daily Mandala from the archives, beginning with Nov. 13, 2004...progressing gradually onward to Nov. 13, 2007, when Henry concluded his seven-year series. To see the newest mandalas, scroll down the archives...to where I first began the reflections in 2009. So, I've a long way to go before I sleep, in these mandala woods, so lovely, dark and deep!

The Daily Mandala: September 19, 2005

Strong, bright, true,
I balance my thoughts...
linking my dreams
in a mosaic of color:
moonbeams of
light and joy in sunlit strands,
 revealing hues
of grace, power and love.

The Daily Mandala: September 18, 2005

A new day of healing begins in my garden of dreams.
Sweet fragrance hums a lavender tune floating dusky memories...
whisper-light feathers landing softly in my heart.
They carry be back to the infinite future
of possibilities to come. I bask in the light of dawn,
awakening to start with clarity, this amazing journey that I'm on.

The Daily Mandala: September 17, 2005

Circles in squares, encircling squares in circles, layering the scaffolding of my life. The pattern is quirky, intricate, infinite. Within this amazing complexity exists a compelling diversity, painting dots of color that mesh in a design of splendid synchronicity. ~ ATB ~

The Daily Mandala: September 15, 2005

Cheerfully I greet the fresh garden morning,
feeling light, open and true to my heart.
The warm sunlight softly expands it.
The pale blue sky envelops it.
The sweet fragrance of summer holds it.
My heart begins the day
in the peace and beauty of serenity.

The Daily Mandala: September 14, 2005

Chasing down a dream,
the song with words I'm meant to sing.
Flying like a dragonfly, I sputter;
I turn to face the music of the spheres,
as it imprints its tune on mine.
Each corner, each direction, each window
lends a hand in time.
I hover at each vision. I like what I see.
 I realize I have a mission,
in my own eternity.

The Daily Mandala: September 13, 2005

Full moon landscape mirrors my dreams, manifesting magic to harmonize
my expression of  wonder and beauty
in all aspects of my life.
 Full moonlight falls serenely,
beckoning me to reflection and discovery
of  the heart of the night.
