All Things Beautiful...Through My Kaleidoscope

Welcome to my page of reflections on the mandala art of Henry Reed. Long ago, I envisioned my writing as viewing life through my looking glass…my kaleidoscope. I love the way the picture changes, with each turn of the scope. Yet, it’s always unique and beautiful. After long enjoying Henry’s mandalas in my daily email, I discovered that, beyond looking at the artwork, I was feeling prompted to write words from my heart regarding what was going on in my life. I began my own daily affirmations, or reflections…and posting them here, beginning in August 2009. ~ Nov. 13, 2011, Henry completed his 7th year -- 2,556 mandala paintings -- thus completing a circle. A new one begins. Hope you'll tune in to watch what develops in this blog space of Henry Reed, SusanGail and ATB ~ It's a journey of intuitive heart.

MANDALA ART BY HENRY REED FROM ARCHIVES OF THE DAILY MANDALA

Note to visitors of All Things Beautiful...

Below you will see my reflections on The Daily Mandala from the archives, beginning with Nov. 13, 2004...progressing gradually onward to Nov. 13, 2007, when Henry concluded his seven-year series. To see the newest mandalas, scroll down the archives...to where I first began the reflections in 2009. So, I've a long way to go before I sleep, in these mandala woods, so lovely, dark and deep!

The Daily Mandala: September 4, 2005

Discovering the freshness in each new day becomes a soul goal of mine. Waking to the light of dawn brings new possibilities. I'm grateful for the daily transformation, and the serendipity of choices. What new direction may I take? What new paths may I walk? Imagining the beauty, I see clearly ahead of me. ~ ATB

The Daily Mandala: September 3, 2005

Flying carpets transport me in my dreams, to places afar, to wondrous scenes. In my imagination, I float the winds, I sail aloft. High over mountain clouds I fly. Envisioning eagles wings, I soar alongside, engaging eye-to-eye.

Silly dreamer, there you go, smiling in the night. Your thoughts are far away....away from today's troubles and challenges. All is well. The way of the dreamer is the beauty way. Go there. Stay. ~ ATB

The Daily Mandala: September 1, 2005

Alignment begins within...within my center. My center encircles and envelops me in its loving presence. This  presence radiates in ever widening spheres, strengthening and tuning each fiber of my being. No matter how far I travel, my network has no boundary, yet always, I may know that at the center I am home. ~ ATB

The Daily Mandala: August 31, 2005

Light trails crisscross the cosmos and find their way zooming through my mind. I'm peering out from center, where they circle and surround me. The influence of the patterns that are written so astounds me, that I discover unbounded openings for the joy of creativity. ~ ATB ~

The Daily Mandala: August 30, 2005

A lattice work of rainbow love is woven magically around my heart. In gratitude I wonder, how these colors found me, and how all this came about. Was it because I was singing? Was it the smile I beamed outside? Was it the hug I gave  a stranger, we both needed deep inside? Perhaps it's all these qualities that wrapped this rainbow gently around me. All I know is, I'll travel lighter on my journey, wrapped in peaceful tranquility.

My imaginary province is provincial in its bearing, most casual, carefree, lighthearted and caring. There is a wisdom in all corners, not an ounce of stately pretense or royalty of nonsense. I love this place of promise, where a star guides the beauty of all its aspects...expansive, open, free... dreaming of possibility. ~ ATB
